How to play

You are trying to guess a short title or phrase based on an initial clue like "1970's Film" or "1960's Song"

You will see how many words are in the answer and how many letters in each word"

When you make a guess, it will tell you which letters are correct. Green means the correct letter in the correct space. Yellow means the correct letter but in the wrong space. Note that is could be anywhere in the answer, not necessarily in that word.

A valid guess must use real words, though the phrase doesn't need to make sense.

Example

Say the phrase you are trying to guess is "Gone With the Wind"

If you guess WORD WITH TWO PLAN, it will mark correct letters in the correct position in green and correct letters in the wrong position in yellow. R, W, P, L and A don't appear in the answer at all, so they are marked in grey. incorrect guess

That phrase doesn't really make sense, but it is a valid guess. Meanwhile this guess is not valid: invalid guess XZBR is marked in brown because it is not a real word.

Note: If a word contains an apostrophe, common contractions such as YOU'RE or WE'VE is acceptable.

For example, if the phrase you are trying to guess is "Cat's Cradle", then this would be a valid guess: you'd better

Additionally, any word that ends in 'S is valid, so long as the first part is a real word, like dogs_cradle

But this would not be valid: invalid guess 2

As you make guesses, they keyboard will be annotated to help you remember which letters you have found. correct guess Under the W, you can see that you know the position of one W, and you know that there is another W, but you don't yet know where it goes.
